Just… why?

Why what?

Good question. Better than mine.

“Why this post?” was the main thing running around my mind when I wrote that. “What does it mean? Why is it here? Who is interested in it?”

In case it sounds like I’m complaining, griping, moaning or whinging, I’m not. I’m an avid reader of your blog. It’s just this post that has me stumped.

Ah, well every month Wikio release a preview of the various blog rankings, based on the number of other blogs who have ‘quoted their words’ for want of a better explanation. This month is slightly unusual in that normally I would only host, on a rota basis with other blogs, the rankings of just the political blogs. This is the overall rating of all blogs, and as you can see, some of the political blogs have ranked extremely well, against stiff competition from such wonders as er, um, Cute Card Thursday!
As you can see, faced with really serious competition in the greetings card department, I couldn’t even make the top 20!
Once we remove these hotspots of interest amongst the general public, and just have the political blogs ranking, I trust I shall find myself still in the top 20…..
Humbling it is, when you find yourself up against the origami experts…….
I did make No 23 on the ‘Worst political blogs’ though, so round of applause please!

Actually, it is interesting, well for me, well for the simple reason that I didn’t realise card-making was almost as important in the world as politics.

That’s what makes me wonder: why?

Who makes all these cards, and why? I had no idea that there were so many people interested in manufacturing paper ‘gloop’.

Number 3 and Number 4 are both about cards….?? WTF? Is this some evil Taliban plot, some fiendish code of which the security services are unaware? We must be told……

8 Hysteria September 2, 2010 at 18:10

no wait – it’s worse than I thought – Numbers 3,4 10,11,12,18 & 19 are all on essentially the same topic………WTF is that about?

Just Magnolia? Sounds like a Blog about my decorating skills!
