No, the first Senior politician to be given that ‘honour’ is Tony Blair; he may be considered a ‘has-been’ and referred to as War criminal in his own country, you may even have thought he was too busy sorting out the Middle East, but in the USA? – he is the man chosen to give the key note speech at an influential early morning ‘prayer fest’ in Washington, attended by Barack Obama, religious leaders, law makers, and foreign Heads of State.
Currently a lecturer on faith and globalization at Yale University, Blair spoke about the three biggest challenges he believes world leaders must confront: economy, environment and security at the Whitehead School of Diplomacy’s World Leaders Forum, which has previously attracted speakers like U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan and former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev, – still the King of the sound bite, he said:

Wasn’t he baptised a Catholic last year or so? Then maybe he could replace with less embarrassment the excommunicated, de-excommunicated and about to be excommunicated again – unless he apologises – bishop Williamson . You would think he would be too busy in the Middle East for this sort of thing – the biggest crisis they’ve had in years, and so far he’s swanned off on holiday, beetled off to the US to collect a congressional medal, and now he’s lecturing at Universities and leading prayer meetings – when does he get to do the work the UN is paying him for?

I’ve liked practically everything Obama said in the past days, including apologies for not paying attention and appointing someone who got his tax declarations wrong. Today that no executive may earn more than half a million a year, no bonuses, only shares, but shares not to be cashed before state contribution have been repaid. So common sense; we all could have said that.
Only thing that worries me is Nostradamus and the world’s most important man of two mixed bloods …
