Post image for Saturday Evening Posts Worth Reading.

Kebabtime with the perfect Pope spot.

Chris Barratt with The Idiot’s Guide to Yewtree.

Brian Howes finally admits he’s a guilty man….(see my previous post and the vicious campaign he ran against me because he was allegedly ‘as innocent a new born babe’..)

Hugh Ash on George Scott and the missing millions.

Gallimaufrey and Chips with a sensible suggestion.

The Chris Barratt article is good and the links at the bottom are also worth reading. The fact that at least a few people are looking at the Savile furore rationally gives one some hope for the human race–UK division.

The Brian Howes saga also illustrates another of Cardinal Keith O’Brien’s lapses of “Judgement”

Well done Anna.

Ooh Thank-you Joe, I’d forgotten his involvement.

@ yewtree – of course – the latest according to the Daily Star Sunday rag. Sussex police refuse to hand over their file to the rag on the basis that the met are still investigating Savile and such disclosure might affect these inquiries ! Then it cites the Shadow crime and security minister saying as much info should be made ‘public’. Ok Mrs, how about the whole truth here – WHERE’S the bloomin evidence ??

Fast forward to a not too distant time – the headlines – ‘latest sentences in the Jimmy Savile scandal …….today at the Central Criminal Court ‘so and so’ was jailed for 3 years for attempting to pervert the course of justice by hampering police investigations into allegations that the former television presenter and charity champion had commited crimes of a sexual nature. The sentence is fairly lenient in comparison to the 7 years handed out to ***** last week. Judge ****** in his summing up referred to the need to protect the principal of innocence until proven guilty.
Mr Savile was cleared of any wrong doing last year following a two year investigation – Operation Real Day !
Just thinking is all ……!

Anna,

Many thanks for kindly linking to my suggestion. It’s better feedback than I received on Peter Hitchens’ (PBUH) corporate blog in Mailonline:

“I think the man from Coventry should concentrate upon his own blog, rather than trying to piggyback on my audience here.

Posted by: Peter Hitchens | 16 March 2013 at 12:11 PM”

Unfortunately, I’d never mentioned my blog inside his secure unit before.
