I understand that Blogger is still down – which for a Libertarian blogosphere, the day before the Rally Against Debt, is disappointing and unfortunate.
If anybody has posts prepared on the subject of the Rally Against Debt, e-mail them to me on annaraccoon2010@gmail.com, and we will publish them here under your name, as fast as possible – usual terms and conditions apply.
The Libertarian movement doesn’t have union coaches or unlimited funds to rally support for this initiative, and at the moment, it only seems to have the service of blogs on WordPress.
To find that the voices of those who don’t want to see our grandchildren in debt have been silenced is beyond belief.

Odd – mine hasn’t gone down, and I’m with Blogger. Perhaps I’m not on the censor’s radar…
It’s “read only” tangentreality. If you try to write a post you’ll just get the (still active at 12:23 BST) an not available blogger message.
As JuliaM mentions there has been an “outrage” and all posts and comments made since wednesday aren’t visible.

TR, you’re less affected by this read only mode Blogger seems stuck in because you’re using Intense Debate for comments rather than Blogger’s own comment system. I’ve just tried posting ID comments both as me and as a guest and it works fine. Actual blog posts are another matter – if you can still blog at the moment or make any alterations to your blog’s design you’re a very lucky blogger.
The blogs are still there on the web tangent, but I can’t read or leave comments at any Blogger hosted blog nor can I add to or edit my own blog.
It went wrong for me early last week, came back briefly on about Tuesday (I think it was), but now has failed again giving an error code or an ‘unavailable’ message.
As my blog is a minor vanity outlet fo my irritation rather than hosting inside political or social info and the first fault happened while I was in France it seems unlikely I would be targetted by censors.
Good idea, Anna. I was planning to put a short puffer piece for Rally Against Debt to encourage attendance but it’s nothing your readers won’t hear from you anyway.
Very frustrating, though, as you say.
Blogger came back yesterday – early afternoon and was OK this morning, though you couldn’t read comments or access Dashboard.
They then did something that rolled everything back to Wednesday…
Gordon Brown has been in las Vegas, I wonder if that was close enough to Silicon Valley for his curse to have affected Blogger and hence many Rally Against Debt bloggers! Well done Anna for inviting guest posts.
Will Gordon be taking over the microphone from where Elvis left off.
Mine went down yesterday – first the comments wouldn’t appear, then I got the ‘service not available’ message and a link to a Blogger status page – which was ‘not available’. Hmmm. I’m off for the weekend at a rally and I was going to do some blogging from there, but it seems I now might have to drink beer instead. Every cloud, ect.
Never mind, I’m sure we’ll be hearing all about the Rally Against Debt, from our public service broadcaster, the one we are all meant to contribute to . Surely there can’t be anything more in the public interest than reducing drbt, can there ?
Hello , BBc, is anyone there ?
Just a coincidence I reckon, Anna:

Can’t trust all this new-fangled stuff. William Caxton never had this trouble.
I’m simply migrating to Wordpress. There’s something fishy going on. Blogger has never been down for this length of time before.
Twitter seems to be down now. Anything to do with super injunctions, or just a coincidence?
Anna, Although I did not avail myself of your kind offer, may I thank you for that offer – a very kind and thoughtful one too.
For those commenters who are wondering why Blogger acted as it did, Richard North posts:

I beat him by hours!
