Misnomer or not?

I was busy researching the history of the Liberal party in Barnstaple, Devon, as you do, and came upon this marvellous figure of yesteryear.

100 years too late! What a loss to the blogging world, just think what we could have done with an MP called Samuel Danks Waddy………

Jeremy Thorpe’s old constituency too….
