I think you do Her Maj a disservice. An uncle of mine served on board HMS Brittannia and can’t speak highly enough of HM, Prince Charles and Princess Anne. People very much in tune with the people, particularly HM, it is politically difficult for her to voice her opinion in public but you can be rest assured that Brownfinger will get a regular earful over tea and scones.

I think she is upset that Sterling is almost in line with the Euro – and she may not have her horsey little head on our bank notes and coins anymore.

It wouldn’t take much, even for the royal family (not mine by the way), to think that maybe all’s not well in the country. However, me thinks their interest is in merely their own fortunes and not that of the subjects, unless of course, it impinges on their benefit.

However, I can see a Hollywood musical coming out of ‘these troubled times’ as well as a return to the Poor Laws, street urchins and people living on the streets – not the royals of course, they are above such dastardlyness.
