I got caught in mid stride as this character came on the box and couldn’t tear my eyes away. How utterly depressing. Thick, stupid, complacent and corrupt.

That was exactly my reaction! He was like a child who had been caught scrumping apples. How did we ever end up with people of that calibre in Parliament?

It’s the new Devine Defence. It wasn’t stealing yer honour, yer see, I gave the money I stole from the bank to the clinic that were doin’ me wife’s plastic surgury, so yer see I were just movin’ it between acounts like, I didna profit from it at all…..aggghhhh!

D’you think he’ll plead diminished responsibility?

His attempted explanation citing moving money from one account to another was stupefying – anybody who thinks moving one money to another is an excuse for theft and falsified documents should really be in the money laundering business. If only he could count, stop mouth breathing and reading whilst mouthing the words and keeping place with his finger…

“anybody who thinks moving one money to another” is of course nonsense – his stupidity is obviously catching. Of course I meant to say
“anybody who thinks moving money from one account to another is an excuse for theft”
