So… Ms. Raccoon, may I take it that you are now ‘Space Age’ rather than ‘Stone Age’? And you didn’t have to wait for that fat bloke in a red suit to struggle down your chimney and fill your stockings?

You must have been extra good this year!

I take it they don’t have an Ann Summers shop in Monbazillac, so it’s a Paris mail-order job.

Have a fun Christmas !

It has been nearly eight years since I acquired my first and so far only Apple Mac. And I did have to go some against my children who thought I was crackers to even contemplate such insanity, and bearing in mind that I didn’t have the first idea of what I was doing at all, at all. But I ever was difficult. Tell me that I shouldn’t do something, and then I almost certainly will do just that. It was not a bad decision. Apples give so much more. And I have never spent a further penny on security because it comes with The Package.
Sadly, my dear old friend is slowing down now, and I do have to think about buying another. But that will always be A Mac. I have been saving for the inevitable day.
My Mac has for so long kept me from loneliness and despair, and I am ever loyal. And a Snob to boot. Buy Mac. Kids don’t know everything.

I’ve been reading with great interest since your Duncroft series. I read back through for wider context. Have often been thoughtful & amused. Gloria’s resplendent robin after Gildas’ swerve from the brink. Seasonal cheer. Anticipating the livelier Raccoon part 2. All the best for 2013.
