Dr Eoin-a-Likes
by Matt Wardman on March 3, 2012
This is a completely frivolous post, especially in that in mentions Dr Eoin Clarke, who stamps roses on everything in search of a sweet-smelling but prickly existence.
Dr Eoin Clarke and Diana Johnson, Labour MP for Hull North, both from their Twitter profiles.
Any more ‘Labour Roses’ elsewhere?

I am led to understand that Gordon Brown has been known to spray himself with ‘Glade’.
Eoin Clarke should not be called a ‘Dr’. He has a PhD in the history of Irish feminism which has no bearing on his blogging of economics using crap statistics using charts from the 70′s school of design. The convention is to only use the Dr prefix when using your name in the same arena as your PhD subject. Since he doesn’t blog about history or feminism, then he should use the suffix PhD.
So he should be called “Eoin Clarke PhD” not “Dr Eoin Clarke (PhD)” which duplicates his doctorate qualification.
The green benches. – A blog about socialism in action.
In action in the 1970′s.
In response to your earlier request.
Of course you may repost the BQ rant.
Anytime.
How about tweeting them a copy of “Animal Farm”…
But I would never suggest anyone take such actions. You could end up getting extradited to the US on copyright infringement, on your return get jailed for internet harassment. On your final release from jail get an ASBO preventing you from communicating with anyone again and put on the sex offenders register because the title was shared with an illegal sex film.
