Well, quite right, DC, and I have to say that this time the quarry will be better placed that ever to escape the hounds and horsemen of the revived hunts. The combination of loose-fitting tracksuits and speed-gripped trainers will give them their best chance of escape and survival ever.

Are the Boxingday-Huntes by any chance related to the Huntingdonshire-Huntes? I used to go out with Heythrop Hunt too, but she spurned me for some other….
I think today’s piece is heartfelt and funny, but it hangs heavy with the air of hopelessness. I think there is every reason to hope that (once their wallets have been more thoroughly felt, and their jobs have disappeared up the backside of Brownian fantasy) the Unwashed will indeed rip themselves free of that DFS sofa and become extremely violent.
This will then be the end of the whole sorry shower of shameful shmooze that masquerades as government in Britain. The truly depressing thing is what might come later.
I’m now going back to the shorry shower of shameful booze I started some six hours ago.
