would a week with Gordon Brown be any better?
it’s snowing again, about 4 -5 cms in two hours – there’s not been good weather in the uk since Brown took the hot seat – can’t we get rid of him , please….?
The only surprise is that it didn’t happen sooner. A pal of mine, admittedly this was in the days prior to home PCs, sent for a tape-based language course which proved unsatisfactory. The subsequent lengthy interchange of correspondence was too convoluted to be imagined and he ended up with three language courses and two refunds – after which he gave up trying.
Biugger.
Last month they told me I had – almost certainly – won enough money to emigrate.
Now I suppose I won’t even get a distinctive figurine to treasure and keep.
